Odisha on high alert as cyclone threat looms; schools, colleges shut in five districts
Odisha is on high alert as a depression over the Bay of Bengal is expected to intensify into a cyclonic storm by Monday. Schools, colleges, and Anganwadi centres in five southern districts will close on October 28 and 29 due to heavy rainfall forecasts. President Droupadi Murmu's visit has been rescheduled to November 4-5 as a precaution.
