OECD lifts India FY27 growth forecast to 7.1%
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) raised India's FY27 growth forecast by 80 basis points to 7.1%, up from 6.3% in June. Despite strong growth momentum, the OECD warned that reduced purchasing power may weaken growth in the latter half of this year, with a gradual recovery expected in 2027.
