The Omani co-pilot of a Flydubai flight intended to crash the aircraft into Israel's Ben Gurion Airport, inspired by the 9/11 attacks. UAE Attorney General Hamad Saif Al Shamsi stated that the plot was uncovered during an investigation into the September 30 incident, which was thwarted by the Indian captain, Smit Machchhar.
