One Nation, One Election panel shelves visit to Supreme Court for ‘informal discussion’
The Joint Parliamentary Committee on One Nation, One Election cancelled its scheduled visit to the Supreme Court on October 6. The Lok Sabha Secretariat informed members of the cancellation without providing a reason. Committee chairman P P Chaudhary clarified that the visit was intended for familiarization, not for discussing the proposed legislation with judges.
