Over 73,100 new houses approved under PMAY-Urban 2.0 in Uttar Pradesh
The Uttar Pradesh government approved 73,184 new houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban 2.0 at a meeting chaired by Chief Secretary S P Goyal. This brings the total number of houses sanctioned in the state under the scheme's beneficiary-led individual house construction component to 488,526. Goyal instructed officials to ensure timely completion and quality of the housing projects, emphasizing regular monitoring to prevent delays.
