Pakistan strikes 10 sites in Afghanistan after drone attacks
Pakistan conducted airstrikes on 10 sites in Afghanistan early Thursday, targeting locations allegedly used for drone attacks against Pakistan. Information Minister Attaullah Tarar described the strikes as deliberate and proportionate, following claims of eight drones launched by Afghan Taliban forces. The situation escalated after Pakistan thwarted a cross-border infiltration attempt by militants, raising tensions between the two nations.
