Panama-flagged cargo ship carrying 24 on board sinks off Odisha coast
A Panama-flagged cargo ship sank in the Bay of Bengal on Saturday, carrying 24 crew members, mostly Chinese. The vessel was transporting iron ore from Odisha to Singapore when it went down approximately 240 nautical miles off the Paradip coast. The Indian Coast Guard and Indian Navy have initiated a rescue operation to locate the crew members.
