Panchkula civic body flags ₹37 crore property tax dues
The Panchkula Municipal Corporation identified ₹37.68 crore in property tax arrears from 697 properties, with private properties accounting for ₹25.95 crore and government properties for ₹11.73 crore. Major defaulters include Hotel North Park, which owes nearly ₹2 crore, and various government departments, with the Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran being the largest defaulter at ₹2.74 crore. Notices have been served to all defaulters to clear their long-pending payments.
