Patna civic body launches drive to bring all flats under property tax net
The Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC) launched a citywide initiative to include all flats in multi-storey buildings under the property tax net. This drive aims to identify properties either outside the tax net or underpaying taxes, thereby improving revenue collection and creating a comprehensive database of residential properties. Field visits by sanitary inspectors will verify apartment details, with the collected information scrutinized by revenue officers to finalize tax assessments.
