Paytm plans to expand into enterprise AI software, aiming to sell in-house developed AI products to its extensive merchant network. This move follows a successful Q1 FY27, where One97 Communications reported a 79% increase in net profit to ₹220 crore, driven by growth in payments and subscriptions. CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma emphasized that the company will leverage its existing AI tools to enhance merchant services and create a new revenue stream beyond its core fintech operations.
