PM reaches out to students; Sonam Wangchuk ends fast
Activist Sonam Wangchuk ended his hunger strike after meeting with two Union Ministers, amid ongoing protests regarding the NEET paper leak issue. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the Cabinet will discuss the matter today, following Wangchuk's demands for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The Centre also transferred the Higher Education Secretary as part of its response to the protests.
