Politics corrupt, won’t contest polls any more: Siddaramaiah
Siddaramaiah, a senior Congress leader and former Karnataka Chief Minister, announced he will not contest the 2028 assembly elections due to perceived corruption in politics and his declining health. Despite this decision, the 79-year-old plans to remain active in political discourse and advocate for public issues. He emphasized that the support he once received from constituents has diminished, and he will complete 50 years in public service by the next elections.
