Prayagraj civic body to rollout OTS scheme for property tax defaulters from Aug 15
The Prayagraj Municipal Corporation will launch a one-time settlement (OTS) scheme for property tax defaulters from August 15 to December 15, allowing them to clear dues in three instalments. Approximately 90,000 property owners, who have not paid taxes, will benefit from this initiative, which aims to alleviate their financial burden and improve the civic body's revenue collection. The scheme requires an initial payment of 30% of outstanding dues within a month of application, with the remaining amount payable in two further instalments.
