‘Rs 1,800 crore loss to EPFO’: CBI books Anil Ambani and Reliance Capital
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) filed an FIR against Anil Ambani and Reliance Capital Limited for allegedly causing a loss of ₹1,816.22 crore to the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO). The complaint, received on July 31, cites offenses including criminal conspiracy and cheating. Ambani denied any wrongdoing, asserting his innocence through a spokesperson.
