Rubio returns to India as trade deal nears
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio began a three-day visit to India on Tuesday to enhance cooperation in trade, energy, and defense. His visit comes amid strained relations due to tariff and immigration issues, yet both countries are making progress on a proposed bilateral trade deal. Rubio is set to meet External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to strengthen the India-US partnership.
