Rupee jumps 28 paise against US dollar as crude price drops to $92 per barrel
The Indian Rupee strengthened by 28 paise against the US dollar, reaching ₹82.50, as crude oil prices fell to $92 per barrel. The decline in crude prices, coupled with a weaker dollar and easing tensions between the US and Iran, bolstered global market sentiment. Domestic equities also rose, although foreign institutional investors continued to sell off equities on Friday.
