Rupee jumps 39 paise to 94.89 against U.S. dollar
The Indian rupee rose 39 paise to 94.89 against the U.S. dollar in early trading on Wednesday, bolstered by declining crude oil prices linked to U.S.-Iran negotiations. The dollar index was at 99.80, down 0.06%. Investors are now focused on the upcoming Reserve Bank of India monetary policy meeting scheduled for August 5, 2026.
