Sarvam AI launches platform to help build India-centric AI models
Bengaluru-based Sarvam AI launched Epoch Builder Edition, a platform for developing AI models tailored to Indian languages and use cases. The platform offers access to multilingual large language models, training infrastructure, and curated datasets, aiming to reduce reliance on foreign AI solutions. Epoch Builder Edition will enter private preview in August 2026, with general availability expected in Q4 2026, and includes partnerships with IITs and state governments for pilot projects.
