Scientists find the whole grain “sweet spot” for better heart health
A study published in the European Heart Journal found that consuming four to six servings of whole grains daily can improve cardiovascular risk factors. The analysis of 87 trials involving over 6,500 participants showed that higher whole grain intake is linked to lower body weight, blood pressure, and cholesterol levels. These findings suggest that increasing whole grain consumption could significantly reduce heart disease risk.
