Seeking removal of CEC Gyanesh Kumar, Kerala Assembly to move resolution today
The Kerala Assembly will move a resolution today to urge the Union government to remove Gyanesh Kumar as Chief Election Commissioner. Both the ruling Congress and the opposition CPI(M) support this unprecedented action. Chief Minister V D Satheesan will present the resolution, which also calls for reinstating voting rights for eligible voters removed from electoral rolls due to the Special Intensive Revision process.
