'Shaurya commandos' prepared: ITBP chief flags ‘ongoing’ China faceoff along Arunachal border
The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) chief Shatrujeet Singh Kapoor announced the formation of a new combat unit, the Shaurya commandos, during a speech in Alwar, Rajasthan. This unit is prepared to engage in the ongoing faceoff with Chinese People's Liberation Army troops along the Arunachal Pradesh border. The ITBP's 65th Raising Day is on October 24.
