Activist Sonam Wangchuk was hospitalized after his health deteriorated on the 21st day of his indefinite fast, which was part of protests demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET-UG paper leak. In response, Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke announced an indefinite hunger strike. The situation escalated following the recent removal of Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golchha by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, who appointed Anurag Kumar in his place.
