Sports Ministry suspends TTFI over governance issues
The Sports Ministry suspended the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) due to governance issues, particularly its failure to conduct timely elections. The ministry noted an unsatisfactory response to a prior show cause notice. The Indian Olympic Association, in consultation with the International Table Tennis Federation, will establish an ad-hoc committee to restore governance in TTFI.
