Standardised pack sizes for edible oils to enhance transparency: Gokul Agro
Gokul Agro Resources Ltd (GARL) welcomed the Department of Consumer Affairs' notification introducing nine standardised pack sizes for edible oils, aimed at enhancing transparency and simplifying price comparisons. This reform, which includes sizes ranging from 200 ml to 20 litres, will help consumers make informed choices and promote fair competition in the market. The industry has a three-month transition period to comply with the new regulations.
