Stock market today: Sensex opens 349 points higher, Nifty gains 0.38%; IT stocks rally
The Sensex opened 349 points higher at 77,535.92, while the Nifty gained 90 points to reach 24,163.60, continuing its rally despite global market pressures. Tech Mahindra led the gains with a 3% increase following a 28.4% rise in its consolidated net profit for the June quarter. Out of 30 stocks, 22 traded in the green, with the BSE IT index up by 1.25%.
