Supreme Court seeks response from Centre on proposed relocation of 135-year-old Central Secretariat Library
The Supreme Court directed the Centre to respond to the proposed relocation of the 135-year-old Central Secretariat Library. The court ordered Additional Solicitor General Aishwarya Bhati to submit a detailed affidavit within three weeks regarding the library's arrangements. The library, located in Shastri Bhawan, spans 5,500 sq. m. and contains over 850,000 books.
