Tarun Tejpal sentenced to 10 years' rigorous imprisonment in 2013 rape case
Tarun Tejpal, former editor-in-chief of Tehelka magazine, was sentenced to 10 years' rigorous imprisonment for rape by the Bombay High Court. The court found him guilty of raping a woman in a hotel elevator in 2013, overturning his previous acquittal. Tejpal has been granted two weeks to surrender to authorities.
