Telangana government to launch one lakh Indiramma houses for the poor in CURE on July 20
Telangana's Revenue and Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy announced the launch of the Indiramma housing scheme for low-income groups, set for July 20 at the state secretariat. The initiative will construct 100,000 multi-storey flats in the core urban region economy (CURE) area, with applications and eligibility criteria to be released on the same day. This project aims to provide housing closer to where the poor currently reside, contrasting with previous government practices of building on city outskirts.
