Trichy civic body warns builders over illegal construction & demolition waste dumping
Trichy corporation commissioner N Ponmalai warned builders against illegal dumping of construction and demolition waste, citing resident complaints affecting traffic. Penalties will be imposed for violations, and construction sites must display plans. The civic body plans to establish a C&D waste recycling unit and collection points to address the issue by 2026.
