Trinamool factions, Congress plan show of strength in Kolkata on Martyrs’ Day
Trinamool Congress (TMC) factions and the Congress party are preparing for competing rallies in Kolkata on Martyrs' Day, each claiming to represent the original legacy of the event. The rallies, commemorating the 1993 police shooting of 13 Youth Congress workers, are scheduled within a 3 km radius, with senior leaders mobilizing support. This display of strength comes as both parties seek to consolidate their positions ahead of upcoming elections.
