TVK intimidating Udhayanidhi; doesn’t want him in assembly tomorrow: MK Stalin
MK Stalin accused the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) government of intimidating Udhayanidhi Stalin by arresting him prior to the assembly session scheduled for tomorrow. He stated that this action disregards Udhayanidhi's status as Leader of the Opposition and reflects the government's failure to address Tamil Nadu's rights over the Cauvery river. Following a protest led by Udhayanidhi in Thanjavur, the Madras High Court ordered his release, which Stalin described as a setback for the TVK government.
