TVS posts record monthly EV sales as electric 2W segment hits new peak
India's electric two-wheeler segment achieved a record monthly sales figure of 2,04,266 units in July 2026, surpassing the previous high of 1,99,411 units set in March. TVS Motor Company led the market with 55,477 units sold, marking a 135 percent year-on-year increase and capturing a 27 percent market share. Cumulative sales for the first seven months of 2026 reached 11.7 lakh units, reflecting a 56 percent increase from the previous year.
