Two days on, Bihar families wait for protesters’ release
Hundreds of parents gathered outside Beur Central Jail in Patna on Wednesday, seeking the release of their children arrested during the NEET paper leak protest. The Bihar government announced on Monday that it would withdraw all cases filed against the protesters and assured no future coercive action would be taken. Despite this, families are still waiting for their loved ones to be released more than 48 hours later.
