Two different bullet trains, signal systems can’t run in same corridor: JTTRI’s Shukuri
Masafumi Shukuri, Chairman of the Japan Transport and Tourism Research Institute, stated that India must ensure safety when operating domestically manufactured and Japanese bullet trains in the same corridor. The Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail project, initially set for 2022, is now expected to open in 2027, highlighting the need for a single operational system.
