UMANG records over 11 crore registered users, 798 crore transactions in three years: IT Ministry
The Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance (UMANG) platform surpassed 11.66 crore registered users and facilitated approximately 798 crore transactions over the past three years, according to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw reported these figures to the Rajya Sabha, highlighting the platform's extensive service offerings, which include 2,575 active services from both Central and State Governments. The Government aims to enhance digital access in rural areas through the expansion of Common Service Centres, which now number over 4 lakh nationwide.
