Uncertainty abroad may push NRIs to secure a home base in India, says Abhishek Lodha
Abhishek Lodha, Managing Director of Lodha Developers, stated that uncertainty abroad is likely to lead more Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) to establish a home base in India, particularly among US-based buyers due to immigration concerns. Last year, ₹350 billion flowed from India into Dubai real estate, but a significant portion is expected to remain in India as demand shifts. Despite the ongoing Middle East crisis affecting around 4% to 5% of Lodha's sales, the company anticipates maintaining its pre-sales guidance, although the situation remains fluid.
