US-Iran war news LIVE: Trump says Iran isn't ready to make deal yet, US launches fresh wave of strikes
US President Donald Trump stated that Iran is not ready to negotiate a deal amid ongoing US strikes, which have now continued for 12 consecutive nights following a breakdown of a Memorandum of Understanding. Trump warned that Iran's blockade of the Strait of Hormuz would provoke retaliatory strikes on critical infrastructure, while Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi threatened a decisive response to any aggression. The conflict has led to widespread flight cancellations across the Middle East as US allies face missile and drone attacks from Iran.
