Wabtec bags $94 million order for Vande Bharat sleeper trains
Wabtec Corporation secured a $94 million order from Indian Railways for the Vande Bharat sleeper train programme. The contract includes supplying braking systems, doors, and gangway solutions. This deal is expected to increase Wabtec's revenue contribution from India to 13-14% by 2030, up from nearly 10% currently.
