Who is Gitanjali J Angmo, Sonam Wangchuk's wife set to lead CJP's Parliament march today
Gitanjali J Angmo, co-founder of the Himalayan Institute of Alternatives, Ladakh (HIAL), is set to lead a march to Parliament today in support of her husband, Sonam Wangchuk, who is on Day 23 of a hunger strike demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Angmo, a social entrepreneur and educationist, has a diverse background in renewable energy, healthcare, and education, and has received the Women Transforming India National Award. The march is part of a larger protest organized by the Citizens' Justice Platform (CJP) against irregularities in the education system.
