Xiaomi launches new Xring chip, partners with TSMC for production
Xiaomi launched its new Xring O3 smartphone processor, produced by TSMC using 3-nanometre technology, aiming to enhance its supply chain and reduce reliance on external suppliers. This follows the Xring O1's introduction a year ago, with the new chip expected to power an upcoming flagship folding phone, targeting shipments of 200,000 to 300,000 units.
