Your car’s data privacy problems are worse than you think
Researchers from Northeastern University revealed that modern cars collect extensive data on driving habits, raising privacy concerns. The study analyzed 21 vehicles from 19 brands, finding that data often goes to third-party companies without owners' consent. David Choffnes, project lead, emphasized the need for greater visibility and control for car owners over their data, indicating significant privacy risks ahead.
