“A little piece of my heart broke”: Shilpa Rao on cut-short Mumbai performance
- Singer Shilpa Rao’s performance was abruptly cut short at Mumbai’s Bollywood Music Project on October 24.
- Her microphone was switched off while she performed, and the next act began before she finished addressing the audience.
- Rao expressed disappointment on Instagram, saying, “A little piece of my heart broke,” while thanking fans for their support.
- Festival organisers apologised, citing schedule delays caused by extended performances and venue curfew regulations.
