Amul takes its milk global with local production in US, Europe
- Amul is expanding its global presence by entering markets such as the US and Europe with locally produced milk.
- Instead of shipping fresh milk from India, Amul is partnering with local dairy cooperatives to produce it overseas.
- In the US, Amul has partnered with Michigan Milk Producers Association, using local farmers’ milk and dairy infrastructure.
- Amul is also expanding in Africa and Southeast Asia, with plans to enter 10 more international markets within a year.
