- SAI’s guidance asks athletes to avoid littering, visible tattoos, loud music and unwanted physical contact, while respecting queues and public spaces.
- Deputy Chef de Mission Achanta Sharath Kamal said athletes were also prepared for cramped container housing and widely spread-out venues.
- Sharath said athletes were being sensitised to Japanese culture and reminded that they represent India while respecting local people and customs.
