- The United Forum of Bank Unions UFBU is demanding a five-day banking week and changes to the performance-linked incentive PLI scheme.
- Unions have also raised pension-related issues and other pending demands with the government and bank management.
- They have announced another three-day strike from September 28–30 and warned of an indefinite strike from October 26 if demands remain unresolved.
