BCCI warned ACC in advance over Mohsin Naqvi trophy row
- The BCCI had informed the Asian Cricket Council before the final that India would not take the trophy from Mohsin Naqvi.
- Despite this, Naqvi reportedly remained firm on presenting the Women's Asia Cup trophy himself.
- The standoff delayed the post-match presentation by around 90 minutes after India beat Sri Lanka in the final.
- India eventually skipped the trophy presentation, repeating the men's team's move from the 2025 Asia Cup final.
