Bihar announces major stipend hike for postgraduate Medical students
- The revised monthly stipend for Bihar's PG medical students takes effect retrospectively from January 1, 2026.
- First-year postgraduate medical students will now receive a monthly stipend of Rs 92,800, up from Rs 82,000.
- Second-year PG medical students will get Rs 1,02,000, while third-year students will receive Rs 1,12,200 monthly.
- Bihar Health Minister Nishant Kumar stated the hike aims to provide better financial aid and support healthcare.
