BJP women MPs to meet President Murmu over allegations against Congress MP

A delegation of BJP women MPs is set to meet President Murmu on Tuesday over charges against Congress MP Angomcha Bimol Akoijam.
He was sacked as a JNU professor after a university committee found him guilty of sexually harassing 11 female students.
The allegations are that he sought sexual favours from students in exchange for marks.
The MPs will argue he is unfit to remain a Member of Parliament and should step down from the post.
