Bodhana Sivanandan, 11, becomes the youngest Woman Grandmaster in history
- Bodhana Sivanandan, 11, from north-west London, has become the youngest woman grandmaster in history, according to FIDE.
- Sivanandan secured her third WGM norm while representing England at the 46th Chess Olympiad in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
- She finished the tournament with eight points, playing on England's top board throughout the event.
- The previous record for youngest woman grandmaster was held by Kateryna Lagno, who achieved the title at age 12.
