Bombay High Court calls Mumbai pollution “shocking” as levels surpass Delhi
- The Bombay High Court, on Wednesday, called it “shocking” that Mumbai is surpassing Delhi in pollution levels.
- It banned bursting firecrackers on public roads, streets and footpaths, and near hospitals, courts and schools.
- The BMC and Mumbai Police Commissioners must file an affidavit on enforcement of the ban by October 26.
